The Food Summit: Seeding Community Resilience

The Goodnight Family Sustainable Development Department at Appalachian State University, in partnership with Blue Ridge Women in Agriculture, will be hosting a one-day event Saturday, April 2nd from 9-3:30pm at the Great Hall, Living Learning Center, Appalachian State University. The food summit theme is Seeding Community Resilience. 

The purpose of the summit is to bring together farmers, students, gardeners, homesteaders, chefs, faculty, and other interested members of the community to talk about the ways in which we can continue to build upon our existing strengths to develop a more resilient and just local food system.
