9-9:15am: Check-in, coffee, and pastries ~ To promote a healthy planet, please feel free to bring your own coffee mug. 

9:15-9:30am: Welcome by organizer Jacqui Ignatova

9:30-10:30am: Keynote speaker: James Veteto, Western Carolina University, Resilient Cultures, Resilient Seeds: Biocultural Diversity in Southern Appalachia

10:30am-12pm: “Seeding” Intergenerational Knowledge Exchange with farmers Jon Fannon, Ron Joyner, Susan Owen, Jim Veteto, and Holly Whitesides, moderated by Jacquie Ignatova

12pm-1:30pm: Lunch, Breakout Sessions and Student Poster Session

1:30-3pm: Food Access and Food Justice with Renee Boughman (F.A.R.M. Cafe), Jennifer Greene (Appalachian District Health Department), Allison Jennings (Hospitality House), and Ben Loomis (Hunger & Health Coalition), moderated by Lanae Ball.

3-3:30pm: Concluding remarks and survey for future Food Summit topics
