Create a Poster for this year's Food Summit! The chosen design will be given a $150 prize
What is the Food Summit?
The Food Summit is a day-long event that will be held on Saturday, October 28th in the Plemmons Student Union. The purpose of the summit is to bring together farmers, students, gardeners, homesteaders, chefs, faculty, and other interested members of the community to talk about the ways in which we can continue to build upon our existing strengths to develop a more resilient and just local food system. |

Appalachian foodways writer and two James Beard awards winner for her fantastic narrative cookbook, Victuals.
In addition to Ronni Lundy, we will have a seed stories panel, and afternoon sessions on food waste, recovery, and redistribution.
We are looking for a poster design that can capture the theme of Dynamic Traditions, Resourceful Communities. Here are some keywords to use for brainstorming:

Farmers connecting with chefs
Seed and seed-saving
Food waste recovery
Food distribution
Composting
Specifics:
The image should be suitable for 11x15 (vertical) posters.
